Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday demanded the federal government to make investments in gas projects of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province. He said that precious gas resources were present in KP which will be enough to fulfil gas demands of the country.
Imran Khan made the statement while visiting a house in Matni area where a gas well is discovered in Peshawar. He said that new gas reserves were being explored in KP while US company showed agreement to make $100 million investments but the federal government was not provided NOC since last five months.
He criticised Orange Line project, saying that Pakistan will get enough gas and oil supplies in accordance with demands if Rs200 billion spent in KP instead of importing it.
