Imran Khan calls upon nation to protect freedom, democracy

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Imran Khan has said that the nation itself protects freedom and democracy and no one else and added that the whole nation should launch a movement for immediate elections.

In a video message regarding the Peshawar rally, Imran Khan said that he is coming to Peshawar tomorrow, workers are ready. Imported government was imposed on the country under big conspiracy. I will talk about imported government in Peshawar, he said.

Former prime minister Imran Khan demanded that immediate elections be held across the country and the nation should launch a movement.

It may be recalled that PTI chairman Imran Khan had announced rallies across the country after the fall of the government and he would hold rally in Peshawar tomorrow.

Yesterday, former prime minister and chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that he was blackmailed by the coalition partners and the next time will no form government with allies.

The political situation of the country was discussed in the meeting of PTI political committee and it was decided to hold public contact campaign.

On this occasion, Imran Khan said that he resigned from the assembly and now he will not go to parliament.

He said that the PTI will now press for new elections at the grassroots level. All parties are afraid of the PTI’s popularity. We will again take a two-thirds majority in parliament, he said.

Imran Khan said that the coalition government continued to be blackmailed him. In future, coalition government will not be formed, he said. He said that he found the government relying on clutches and it did not get the opportunity to work openly.

He said that now only those loyal to the party will be made successful by giving tickets. When he comes to power again, he will block the way of horse-trading forever. He said he is not sad over losing power but over the betrayal by own people.
