Imran khan asks govt to accept PTI lawmakers’ resignations

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan on Tuesday said the government to accept resignations of PTI lawmakers.

While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Imran Khan said that they would not accept charity. He continued that he would lead the election campaign. He said that there was no grabbers group in PTI.

PTI Chairman said that he would suggest his party not to join the assemblies. He continued that they would hold intraparty elections and Tasneem Norani would be the head of the election commission.

He said that they wanted to hold intraparty elections right after the local body elections in Sindh and Punjab.

Imran Khan said that they were going to introduce new constitution for the party soon. He continued that party constitution allowed him to chose team.

Imran Khan said in his press conference that a diesel permit was the price of Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s conscience. He lashed out on MQM Chief Altaf Hussain for hate-inciting speeches. Imran Khan said that ECP members had lost their right to hold posts after election-2013.
