ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Thursday decided to frame charges against accused in Imran Farooq murder case on Nov 24, in Adyala Jail.

The court was to frame charges against three accused including Khalid Shameem, Moazzam Ali and Mohsan Ali but these were not produced in the court due to security reasons.

The court had also issued directives to the management of Adyala Jail for making arrangements of next hearing in jail’s premises.

ATC Judge Syed Kausar Abbas Zaidi heard the case.

The prosecutor of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Waseem Ranjha couldn’t appear before the court, on which the court expressed displeasure.

The wife of accused Moazzam Ali requested the court to trial the case in her presence as his husband was suffering from mental stress.

The court remarked that the charges would be framed against the accused in presence of heirs.

The court also noted that the FIA had not so far provided reports of sensitive institutions regarding the case.

The court directed to provide all relevant documents to the counsels for the accused and also summoned all witnesses in the case on next date of hearing.

The next hearing of Imran Farooq murder case would be held in Adyala Jail.
