ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Imran Khan has demanded appointment of the UN representatives across the other side of Line of Control.
Imran Khan in a letter he wrote to the United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon mentioned that the human rights violations in occupied Kashmir had risen to a drastic level and that was why, the meeting of UN Security Council should be summoned with immediate effect.

The PTI Chairman also mentioned in his letter that ensuring the global peace and stability is the job of UN Secretary General, however the dispute issue of Kashmir that has been on the United Nations’ agenda is still going unresolved.
Imran Khan also expressed through his letter that the Indian forces deployed on LoC have resorted to unprovoked firing and which has resulted in civilian casualties as well.
Imran was of the opinion that he fails to understand as to why the United Nations is still silent over Indian aggression and not taking substantial step in this regard.
Imran also mentioned in his letter that the regional peace and security is under threat owing to Indian violence.
