ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will continue to receive support from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, an official statement says here on Monday.
Both the financial institution have assured Islamabad their continued support during the meetings with a Pakistani delegation led by Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, the PM’s advisor on finance, the Finance Division statement says.
The Pakistani delegation comprising State Bank Governor Reza Baqir, Finance Secretary Naveed Kamran Baloch and Economic Affairs Division Secretary Noor Ahmed held the meeting with the officials of IMF and WB in Washington DC.
