LAHORE: Famous religious cleric around Muslim World, Imam-e-Haramain Sharifain Sheikh Khalid al-Ghamdi, has arrived in Lahore to pay seven-day visit in Pakistan while the cleric would deliver Friday sermon in Bahria Town mosque.
Sheikh Khalid al-Ghamdi paid seven-day visit to Pakistan over special request of Bahria Town chief Malik Riaz.
Al-Ghamdi was received by Saudi Arabian ambassador, Allama Sajid Mir, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi, Hafiz Abdul Karim and other persons at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore. He was scheduled to spend two days in Lahore and would deliver Friday sermon in Bahria Town Lahore.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif would host the Islamic cleric on dinner where prominent political and religious personalities were also invited in Lahore.
Security measures were beefed up during the visit of Imam-e-Haramain Sharifain in Pakistan.
