LAHORE: Shakil Ahmed has been elected as Nazim-e-Aala of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan (IJT), a student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan on Sunday.
Taking to Twitter, JI Ameer Sirajul Haq said that the members of the IJT had elected Shakil Ahmad as Nazim-e-Aala of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan for the session 2022-23.
اسلامی جمعیت طلبہ کے ارکان نے شکیل احمد کو نیا ناظم اعلی منتخب کیا ہے۔ یہ جمعیت کی تنظیمی و جمہوری روایت کا تسلسل ہے، ہر سال ارکان کی رائے سے انتخاب عمل میں آتا ہے۔ اللہ تعالی انھیں استقامت عطا فرمائے اور انھیں اپنی ذمہ داری کی کماحقہ ادائیگی کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔ آمین

He said that the election of Shakil Ahmed as Nazim-e-Aala is continuity of the IJT’s organisational and democratic traditions. Every year Nazim-e-Aala is elected by the IJT members through voting.
Asad Ali Qureshi has been elected as Muatmid Aam (Secretary General) of the IJT.
