Fawad says no progress in foreign funding case in ECP

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed February 1 for hearing the petition seeking disqualification of Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on charges of concealing assets in its statements.

The Registrar’s Office of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has released the cause list of next week’s cases, according to which Fawad Chaudhry’s disqualification case has been fixed for hearing on February 1.

The petition was filed by Sami Ibrahim.

IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah will hear the petition.

The court has already issued notices to Fawad Chaudhry and the Election Commission of Pakistan seeking their response to the petition.
