ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday heard a petition challenging the cancellation of the citizenship of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Hafiz Hamdullah by the Database and Registration Authority (Nadra).
During the hearing, IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah suspended the Nadra’s decision to cancel the citizenship of the JUI-F leader.

He also sought a reply within two weeks from the database authority.
The interior ministry was directed not to take any action against the JUI-F leader.
