ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday disposed off a case against the call of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf for locking down federal capital through protests and sit-ins.

Justice Aamir Farooq heard the case verdict that was earlier reserved by the court.

The court directed the petitioner to approach Chief Commissioner Office, which was a proper forum and authority to permit all kind of protests in the city and disposed off the petition.

The petitioner stated that the protests would disrupt the daily routine of the citizens and paralyzed the federal capital.
