LAHORE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released a new ranking for ODIs.
New Zealand bowler Trent Bolt retains the number one position in the world rankings, while Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has slipped two ranking points to ninth.
Mohammad Amir has moved up from seventh to ninth position in the ICC rankings released after the end of the Afghanistan-Ireland ODI series. The national fast bowler has announced a break from cricket in the presence of the current coaching panel and is not being considered in the PCB’s selection policy.
New Zealand’s Trent Bolt retains the number one position, while Afghanistan’s Mujeeb-ur-Rehman is second and India’s Jaspreet Bhamra is still third.
Similarly, Bangladesh’s Mehdi Hassan has moved up nine places to fourth position and England’s Chris Vokes is fifth.
