International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the scheduled of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 in which arch rival Pakistan and India will face each other on June 4.
According to ICC, England will host the event from June 1st to 18th of the month next year. Top eight team in ICC ranking England, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Bangladesh defending champions India and Sri Lanka will take part in the event.
This is the first time, World T20 champion West Indies are not part of an ICC event due to low rankings.
Pakistan will start its title hunt against arch rival India, while in its second match the Green-shirts will take on South Africa on June 7. In the third match Pakistan will face Sri Lanka in its last group match on June 12.
Top two team of both groups will qualify for the semifinals of the tournament which will be on June 18.
