The International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that ex-Indian Premier League chairman Lalit Modi had shared the names of top international cricketers involved in corruption in the Twenty20 tournament through a letter.

Modi alleged in the letter that the players had received 200 million rupees each from an Indian real estate tycoon. Modi shared all the details about alleged corruption to ICC CEO David Richardson through a confidential letter.

The ICC on Sunday confirmed receiving the letter and said it had shared its details with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
