ICC accepts new rules for ODI cricket

BARBADOS: International Cricket Council (ICC) has accepted the new rules for One Day International (ODI) cricket in the meeting held in Barbados on Friday.

According to reports,  the rules will favour bowlers most as five overs of batting power play which was taken during 15 to 40th over any time now no longer exist in the game.

On the other hand one rule could favor batsmen allot will be a free hit which will be given in every type of No bowl bowled by the bowler.

It is pertinent to mention here ICC was considering to change a few rules in ODI cricket following the high scoring games in World Cup 2015.

However, it is not mention in the report from when these rules will be implemented.

On the other hand ICC also suspended the membership of American Cricket Council.
