Karachi: Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram said in a statement that he does not interfere in anyone’s work in Karachi and does not tell the chief selector who to take and who not.

He said that the tour of South Africa is very important and the pitches there will be different due to which Pakistan may face difficulties.

Wasim Akram said that selection of players is made a problem. The captain and the chief selector have a debate but it should not be an issue.

The former captain said that Sharjeel Khan had been in the biosecure bubble for a long time and he promised to work on his fitness. The players were having trouble with the biosecure bubble, he added.
