SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has thanked all political parties and government of Pakistan for their continued support to Kashmiris’ struggle for securing their right to self-determination.
In a statement in Srinagar, forum spokesman appreciated role played by political leadership and people of Pakistan in highlighting Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir at international forums.
He said that Pakistan has always been ready to work towards a lasting solution of dispute in accordance with wishes and aspirations of Kashmiris.
Meanwhile, Indian police during crackdown operations arrested around a hundred youth from different areas of Valley.
Eighteen of those arrested belonged to Hajin area of Bandipora district and were taken into custody from Srinagar city during a nocturnal raid.
