CARIO: Islamic State affiliated Egyptian group on Wednesday threatened to execute Croatian hostage within 48 hours if Muslim women were not released from Egyptian jails.
The Croatian man was kidnapped by IS in Cairo last month. The Croatian hostage read a message in a video released by IS on Wednesday. H said in the his message that he would be executed within 48 hours if the Egyptian government failed to release Muslim women held in prisons.
The hostage said he was abducted on July 22 by the Sinai Province group, Daesh´s Egyptian affiliate. He said he was working for French company CGG.
