A high level meeting is under way at Generals headquarter (GHQ) Rawalpindi where top military leadership, federal ministers and others are taking part.
Chief of Army Staffs (COAS) Raheel Sharif, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence Rizwan Akhtar, Finance minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Foreign affairs adviser Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi are attending the high level meeting.
In the meeting, the discussed internal and external security matter of the country, relation with neighboring countries, Balochistan situation, situation after US Drone strike and Pakistan Iran relations.
Operation Zerb-e-Azb and IDPs matter were also discussed in the meeting.
