Karachi: The Meteorological Department has forecast more heavy rains in Karachi tomorrow (Sunday) and Monday.
According to the meteorological department, heavy rains with thunderstorms are expected in different districts of Balochistan on Sunday and Monday.
It added that urban flooding is also expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin and Mirpur Khas due to rains on Sunday and Monday.
The Meteorological Department said that areas of Lower Sindh could be inundated again due to rains. All the concerned agencies have been asked to remain alert.
The intensity of rain on Sunday and Monday is expected to be less than the rain on Thursday.
Director Meteorological Department Sardar Sarfraz said that heavy rains are likely in the next spell of monsoon but the intensity of rains will not be the same as the previous spell.
He said that it is likely to start raining from tomorrow afternoon, which will intensify on Monday.
