Most awaited rainfall lashed the port city Karachi on Tuesday late night that turned weather pleasant as the first monsoon gift for Karachiites.
Heavy rainfall with strong winds was reported from various areas of Karachi including I.I. Chundrigar Road, Kharadar, Meethadar, UP Round About, Sohrab Goth, University Road, Burns Road, Federal B. Area, Nazimabad, North Karachi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Malir, Airport, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi, Korangi, Clifton and other areas.
However, load shedding has also started in the port city here on Tuesday vanishing happiness of citizens trying to enjoy the first monsoon rainfall.
Many roads were inundated by the rain waters in all areas where rainfall has been reported.
