Heatwave affects 12,000 persons in Karachi: CM Sindh

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that around 12,000 persons were affected by recent heatwave in Karachi while performance of Sindh health department was satisfactory.

CM Qaim Ali Shah while talking to reporters in Karachi said that Karachi is their own city and they all were working for it while Sindh government is fulfilling all of its responsibilities. He said that the federal government would itself answerable if not providing relief to the nationals.

He said that the deadly heatwave affected 12,000 citizens in Karachi despite full arrangements made by the Sindh government to void casualties in the emergency situation. He acquitted Sindh government from the deaths by terming it the natural disaster.
