KARACHI: Heat wave engulfed 15 more lives on Saturday in Karachi. More than 1131 people have been died of heat and sunstroke in Karachi.

Provincial Disaster Management Authority operations director Nazar Mohammad said that about 65,000 heatstroke patients treated in Karachi hospitals during heat wave and 1,923 patient still being treated.

Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) officials said that centre’s mortuary was overflowing and there were piling bodies one on top of the other.
