Calcium Carbide is banned to ripe fruits even in our neighbor country India where all the lot is seized and disposed of if found the harmful chemical in it. Experts said that Calcium Carbide can cause skin, stomach, intestine diseases and cancer. 40-42 grams Calcium Carbide is kept inside each mango box to ripe it. It is a violation of international laws and these profiteers are throwing consumers life endanger.

The other countries use Ethylene gas to ripe fruits which is not harmful for human.
