Handlers of Balochistan terror attacks present in India, Afghanistan: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Pakistani security forces had killed 13 terrorists in the Panjgur and Naushki areas, the military’s media wing said on Thursday.

“After successfully repulsing terrorist attacks at Panjgur and Naushki yesterday night, security forces carried out clearance operation to hunt down terrorists hiding in the area,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

Security forces killed five more terrorists in Naushki, bringing the number of killings to nine. Four soldiers embraced martyrdom while repulsing the attack.

In Panjgur, meanwhile, Pakistani forces killed four terrorists while at least four to five were encircled by them. Operation is underway in Panjgur to eliminate fleeing terrorists, the ISPR said.

It added that intelligence agencies had intercepted communications between the terrorists and their handlers present in India and Afghanistan.
