Hafiz Naeem-led JI delegation meets Mufti Munibur Rehman

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman led delegation on Saturday met renowned cleric and central chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Munibur Rehman where they discussed matters of mutual interests and overall situation of the metropolis.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman was accompanied by JI vice chiefs Birjees Ahmed, Muslim Pervaiz and JI secretary Abdul Wahab while Jamiat Ittehadul Ulema (JIU) member Maulana Abdul Waheed and other personalities also attended the meeting.

On the occasion, Hafiz Naeem said that JI was making all efforts to bring back Karachi to its normalise state. He added that JI has made seat adjustment with ally political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to put the metropolis Karachi on the path of development and prosperity.

He added that development of the city was seized by target killing, terrorism, robberies and extortion while JI was in contact with all political parties, allies and clerics to restore lights of the metropolis. He appealed clerics and religious parties to support them to put the metropolis Karachi on the path of development and prosperity.
