Hafiz Naeem demands govt to allow business activities in Karachi

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami, Karachi, Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman on Tuesday termed the online business as fraud, demanding opening of businesses in Karachi.

The JI ameer stated this during a traders protest held at Karachi’s Five Star Chowrangi here.

The protest was also attended by women shopkeepers holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands.

Speaking to the media, on the occasion, Hafiz Naeem said that the state has nothing to give to masses.

People are not being provided any facility. A large number of sisters, mothers, daughters and traders are gathered here, he added.

The JI leader said :”We will not accept online business as it is a cheating.”

He said that a protest movement has started and asked the government to allow resumption of business activities.

He said that it is a duty of a ruler to provide relief to masses as traders could not do so.

He warned the government against creating a rift among the traders, saying the Jamaat-e-Islami is standing with all the traders.
