Pakistani cricket star Muhammad Hafeez’s biomechanical teats date will be decided today. Indian High commission has finally issued visa to the Pakistani all-rounder but Pakistan Cricket Board wants to postpone the date in connection with Pak-Sri Lanka Test series.
Mohammad Hafeez may miss the third Test against Sri Lanka in Pallekele as he has to left for his bowling test in Chennai, India. The offspinner was granted the Indian visa on Wednesday afternoon and the ICC is expected to confirm a date for the test on Thursday.
The PCB had earlier requested the ICC for an extension to the July 4 deadline for the test on the grounds that Hafeez had not yet been granted an Indian visa to travel to the accredited testing centre in Chennai. If ICC rejects PCB plea, Hafeez would not play the third Test against Sri Lanka.
