GUJRANWALA: Dozens of graves have caved in after rainwater accumulated in the Naya Qubristan in Shaheenabad.
Local people protested against the incompetency of WASA and other authorities concerned for their failure to make arrangements to drain rainwater out from the Naya Qabristan located in 30-Feet Bazaar of Shaheenabad.
The residents complained that the graves of their loved one have sunk in rainwater accumulated in the graveyard due to failure of WASA and other authorities.
They demanded of the WASA and local government to immediately drain out rainwater from the graveyard, which has turned into a pond after the recent rains.
They warned of staging protest if the water was not drained out immediately from the graveyard.
