Cracker attack near Rangers check post at Korangi 2 ½ created panic in the area, local media reported on Monday.
Police said some unidentified assailants on motorcycle threw a grenade at the check post which was damaged a bit but fortunately personnel of the law enforcement agency escape the attack unharmed.
Following the attack, heavy contingents of Police and Rangers reached the site and stated the search operation in the area.
