Left-hand seamer Mohammad Amir has regained fitness from back injury ahead of the all-important clash of arch rivals between Pakistan and India for ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

The 25-year-old suffered a back injury during a practice session ahead of the Pakistan encounter with England at the semifinals of the tournament. Despite, Amir absence Pakistan comfortably beaten favourites England in the semis.

He was replaced by Rumman Raees in the semis against the host. Rumman went on to grab two wickets in his debut game.

Earlier, skipper Sarfraz Ahmed said Mohammad Amir will be fit for Sunday’s ICC Champions Trophy final despite missing semifinal against England.

The seamer has taken two wickets in his three appearances in the competition thus far but was unable to add to it against England, not that Sarfraz missed his number one bowler.
