DIR: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq on Wednesday expressed disappointment on the refusal of opposition’s terms of references (ToRs) on Panama leaks by the interior minister.

While talking to different delegations in Samar Bagh, he said that government wanted to make the accountability process and commission controversial so as to stop the investigation on Panama Leaks revelations. Haq said that opposition was agreed on indiscriminate accountability. He said they did not demand to make only PM and his family accountable.  The JI leader said they demanded across the board ruthless accountability.

Haq said no one is above the law as per our constitution and added that their campaign against corruption will carry on until the plundered money will be brought back  to the national treasury.

He said no one could escape from accountability this time. He ruled out the news about opposition’s split on ToRs. Haq said all the opposition parties unanimously endorsed a draft of 15-point ToRs. The JI leader said nation will not tolerate the corrupt system any more. He continued that masses have come to know that a corrupt always cover the corruption of other corrupt.
