ISLAMABAD: The Annual Plan Coordination Committee (APCC) meeting has decided to spend 1.4 trillion rupees on development program. The meeting set 5.5 percent economic growth rate for the next fiscal year.
Minister for Development Ahsan Iqbal presided over the meeting in Islamabad. Inflation was targeted at 6 percent for the next three years, against 4.8 percent during current year. The target for debt-to-GDP ratio that stood at 63 percent this year would be set at 61.5pc of GDP next fiscal year.
An official said that the allocation for the power sector in the PSDP will be increased by 80 percent for the next year.
