ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to set up its own CDC on the lines of the Center for Disease Control Atlanta.
Speaking to a local newspaper, Special Assistant to PM on Health Dr Faisal Sultan said that preparations to set up the Centre for Disease Control Pakistan (CDC) were in final stage.
The CDC will be established through a presidential ordinance or Bill, for which a draft has been prepared.
American, Chinese and the British governments were extending cooperation in setting up thw CDC, Dr Faisal said.
