ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources has decided to increase the price of gas from July 1, 2015.
Sources say that Industrial consumers will have to face a 53 percent increase while fertilizer factories will have to bear a raise of 64 percent while commercial consumers will have to pay 18 percent more on the consumption of gas.
The raise will be introduced after the passage of infrastructure bill and the the move may also increase the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
The ministry of petroleum sources said that the prices were not increased in 2013 but now the prices will be increased from July 1.
