Govt not to low POL prices

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan government has decided not to decrease petroleum prices despite major slump in crude oil rates in international market.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced that petroleum prices will be retained. He added that Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) sent summary for decrease in petrol prices up to Rs0.15 and Rs2.68 in diesel.

The federal government decided not to low the rates till October 31. Currently, petrol prices stood at Rs74.03 per litre and diesel at Rs82.36.
