Govt not increasing petroleum prices: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan has announced that government is not increasing petroleum prices in the holy month of Ramadan.

In a ceremony PM Nawaz said that government is not increasing petroleum prices and government will face Rs 2.5 billion loses by not increasing the prices.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had forwarded a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum to revise the petroleum prices from next month.

OGRA had suggested to increase petrol prices by Rs.4.26 per liter, High Octane by Rs.7.30 and kerosene oil by 67 paisa per liter. OGRA advised to decrease diesel prices by 60 paisa per liter.
