KARACHI: Sindh Government Spokesperson Murtaza Wahab said that the government and people were fighting together against the coronavirus.
He appreciated the media and health workers for their role in struggle against the pandemic.
The spokesperson made these remarks while addressing a press conference here on Tuesday.
He said that the Covid positivity rate in Karachi stands at 26.3 per cent. He added that 1,700 new cases had been reported in the past 24 hours.
Murtaza Wahab urged the citizens to be cautious and ensure compliance with SOPs at public places.
