ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has announced to launch Prime Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme worth nine billion rupees to provide insurance to the patients suffering from serious and contagious diseases.
Through the scheme Secondary level medical facilities will be provided in the tribal areas, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. He said that medical facilities would be provided initially in 23 districts, which would be expanded during the next three years to facilitate the poorest segments of the country.
