KARACHI: Sindh government has announced a two-day ban on pillion-riding in Karachi from Wednesday midnight to Friday to avoid any misshape in connection with new year celebrations.
The ban will not be applicable on women, children, senior citizens and journalists.
Officials said a notification has been issued in this regard “to maintain security on the new year night.”
During the two days, aerial firing, display of arms, removal of silencer of motorcycles and one-wheeling of bikes would not be allowed under Section 144, officials said.
