ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif says the government investing on power generation projects to meet the energy needs.
Talking to a delegation of Chinese investors in Islamabad today, he said the government gives priority to electricity production through hydro resources. He said international institutions will provide billions of dollars for Dasu Dam project.
He expressed the confidence that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will prove a game changer in the region. All provinces in the country will equally benefit from the project. It will bring about real change in the life standard of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
He said Gwadar Port will be developed on international standards. The Chines delegation expressed interest for investment in hydel generation projects and said that transparent opportunities of investment will enhance investment in the country.
