LAHORE: PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah on Thursday said that the government had granted a permission to hold the Oct 16 rally at the Jinnah Ground after a pressure built following the announcement of organising the gathering on the GT Road.

Addressing a presser here, the former Punjab minister said that the local administration of Gujranwala had granted a permission at 5:00am this morning to counter a pressure built following the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s decision to hold the public gathering on the GT Road.

He said that if masses want to get rid of inflation then they should join the peaceful protests of the PDM.

Sanaullah said that the country lacked good governance. Whoever wants to see the prices of edibles come down should attend the PDM’s rally tomorrow, he added.
