Govt focusing on regional connectivity through economic cooperation: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Friday said his government was focusing on regional connectivity through economic cooperation to benefit the people of region at large.

Talking to Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Ali Alizaidi here at the PM House, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan wished to strengthen its relations with Azerbaijan in various fields.

The Prime Minister emphasized on translating the friendly bilateral relations with Azerbaijan into strong economic partnership.

Enhancement of trade and business relations between Azerbaijan and other countries in the region is our top most priority, he said.

Ali Alizaidi expressed the confidence that bilateral relations between the two countries would improve with joint efforts.

Special Assistant to PM Tariq Fatemi was also present.
