ISLAMABAD: The government has finalised the Ramazan relief package on the utility stores.

According to sources, the Ramazan package will be applicable to utility stores from April 10 and under the package, a subsidy of Rs7.84 billion has been allocated while 19 items will be given a subsidy from Rs10 to 90 per kilograms.

Sources said that under the Ramazan package, the maximum subsidy will be Rs90 per kg on ghee, Rs40 on sugar and Rs31.38 per kg on flour, while under the package sugar will be sold at the current rate of Rs68 per kg.

They added that a 20 kg bag of flour will be sold at the current rate of Rs800, besides ghee will be available at Rs170 per kg. A subsidy of Rs20 per kg on edible oil and Rs15 per kg on dal channa. A subsidy of Rs10 will be given on dal mash and dal moong each while Rs30 on dal masor, Rs30 on white gram and Rs20 per kilograms on basin will be offered.
