ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to privatize at least 10 state-run organization in the current year.
Sources said that the government has made the decision under the pressure of International Monitoring Fund (IMF). Pakistan International Airlines and Pakistan Steel Mills also included in privatization list.
Sources added that Pakistan Steel Mills privatization will be completed by September this year. While Parliamentary Committee meeting will be held in next week regarding PIA privatisation.
Privatization of Mari Petroleum limited, LESCO, FESCO, IESCO and other organization will be completed this year.
