ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to ban the public meetings and rallies in the wake of second wave of coronavirus in the country.

Briefing to the media after the National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting here on Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that guests only upto 300 were allowed to attend the wedding ceremonies being held at the wedding halls.

He said that the standard operating procedures (SOPs) should be followed at the mosques, factories and shops. The final decision on schools will be taken after a week, Imran said.

He feared that the hospitals would pack to their limits if we do not follow the SOPs.
