Govt committed to eliminate terrorism: Punjab governor

MULTAN: Punjab governor Malik Rafique Rajwana said the whole nation was united against enemies and the government was also committed to eliminate menace of terrorism.

He was speaking at Quran Khawani and prayer ceremony for victims of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park at Circuit house here on Monday. MPAs Malik Shoukat Bosan, Rana Mehmoodul Hassan, Muhammad Ali Khokhar, Shehzad Maqbool Bhutta, Rana Tahir Shabbir, and other PML-N local leaders participated in the ceremony.

The governor reiterated that Zarb-e-Azb operation would continue till elimination of the last terrorist. “We have to keep eye on our enemies and shun differences as the terrorists are damaging country’s sovereignty,” he said.

He said, “Enemies wanted to frightened us through cowardly acts but we are united and enemies cannot shake our pledge against the menace of terrorism.”

He expressed the government’s resolve to put country on way to progress along with abolishing of miscreants.
