ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has said efforts are being made for early handing over of bodies to their family members.
Talking to APP, he said 47 bodies of victims have been shifted while their family members are also coming to hospitals for the DNA tests.
He said the DNA tests procedure will be started after completion of sample collection of victims and their family members.
He said besides PIMS hospital experts, technical assistance from other laboratories will also be obtained for having proper identification of all victims through the DNA tests.
He said at least six days are required for the result of the DNA tests, after that the government would ensure handing over of all bodies to their family members.
He said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has issued special directions for the maximum facilitation to the family members of victims and smoothly completion of the identification and handing over process.
He said PIMS staff would continue its working till completion of data sampling of all family members of victims.
