ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday appointed Senator Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana as new Governor Punjab.
He is well known law expert and belongs to southern Punjab. Rajwana has been very active in politics. He remained associated with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) throughout his political career.
Rajwana also called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in prime minister house. He assured the Prime Minister that he will come up to the expectations of the leadership
In a statement after getting new appointment, Rajwana said he will make all-out effort to serve the people of the province.
