ISLAMABAD: The federal government has allocated Rs 151 million for initiating the Information Technology Parks Development project in Islamabad.
Besides, the government allocated Rs 230 million for construction of Cross-Border OFC System between China and Pakistan for international connectivity of Voice/data traffic and Rs 300 million had been designated for Replacement of GSM Network of AJK (SCO) said an official of the ministry.
While, a sum of Rs 128 million has been earmarked for Laying of OFC to connect Remote Locations of AJK and Gilgit Baltistan.
For Gilgit Baltistan an amount of Rs 10 million has been allocated in PSDP for Expansion and Up-gradation of GSM network.
